Summer Registration - (What to do if you missed registration)
For returning Pathfinders wanting to participate in summer activities, if you weren't able to get to registration but are planning on coming back you need to let the club know that the Pathfinder will be returning so that after July 1, they be included on the conference registration site. That will make sure that they are covered by insurance if needed. It will be ok for us to use their current paperwork. If you know of new kids who are wanting to participate in any summer activities, we will need to have paperwork completed. The church office has copies of the paperwork needed during regular business hours.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summer registration is Wednesday, May 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. It is very important that at least one parent come with their Pathfinders(s). The Pathfinder needs to be there also to have their application signed, and photo taken. If you will be out of town during registration, fill out the registration forms and return to the Church Office. If you have friends that might be interested, please make sure they know when registration is.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A meeting for ALL Pathfinder parents, whether your child has been in the club for several years or they will be a new Pathfinder, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on TBD in the Fellowship Hall. We will give guidelines on what camping equipment (sleeping bags, pads, water bottles, clothing, etc.) your child should have for an enjoyable camping experience.

Uniform New members are required to purchase a Class A uniform. Sample sizes will be available to try on before ordering. Please make sure to check that your uniform and t-shirt still fits and that you have all of the pieces before coming to registration. If you have items that don't fit anymore and you wish to trade or sell, you are welcome to put it on the Collegedale Pathfinder's Facebook page. The club will not be selling used uniforms, if you have any that you would like to donate you can drop them off at the church during regular business hours (1:00-4:00PM) |
Upcoming International Camporees Looking ahead, the International Camporee will be held in 2024 in Gillette, Wyoming. Questions If you have questions, email collegedalepathfinders@gmail.com or visit www.pathfindersrus.com. While we hate to think that you might not be back, please let us know if you have chosen not to return to Pathfinders this year. Because of all the challenges this year, it will help to know as soon as possible who will be joining us. Thanks so much. We look forward to seeing everyone at registration on May 10 at 6:30 p.m.! |

Uniform Pants
Remember the Pathfinders and staff must have black dress pants and black shoes (with no white on them) for their uniform. Since most of you will be buying school clothes soon, you may want to remember to make sure that your child has Pathfinder shoes. The shoes must not have any white on them, and sandals, high heels, or platform shoes are not appropriate. Remember the Pathfinders will need to be able to march in their shoes without tripping, twisting their ankles or falling off of them.
Uniform pants can be a challenge for the Pathfinder family. So as to be able to present ourselves in a "uniform" manner we ask that parents purchase their Pathfinder's pants online through a trusted site. We will continue to use the Dickies Brand. Black Twill is the standard. Men and boys can be found at Wal-Mart. The preferred boys pant is the Cell phone pocket pant. Junior sizes are only available online, please avoid very tight style for girls and juniors. Many sites have slim and husky. Please order soon to ensure your child has the proper uniform for induction.

Pathfinders may choose their style as long as there are no cargo pockets. Thank you, parents, for all you do to keep your Pathfinder looking sharp!
