Activity Information and Response forms

Signing up for an activity is a two-part process. 
  1. Complete the response form for each person (Pathfinder, staff, parent and staff child) indicating yes or no whether or not they are going. 
  2. Fill out a hard copy permission form for each Pathfinder attending the event. 
For those families with more than one person, the form will need to be filled out for each person. Please do not bring anyone to club activities without making sure that they have been signed up!

Once you fill out the Response Form and you click the submit button you will see a message that says "Thank you.  Your information has been submitted."  If there is a * then the field is required, and it won't submit without it being filled in.

Just a reminder that unless a parent has completed the Sterling Volunteer background check and been added to the conference roster by the club secretary, and you have registered to come to an event, you can not show up at the event.

Response Form - Deadline Closed
The Georgia-Cumberland Conference Camporee at Cohutta Springs will be April 24-27, 2025. Deadline to respond is March 26 at 10:00PM. Just a reminder this event starts on a Thursday.  

Please fill out this form by March 26. Here we will also gather information about transportation, meals and special food needs. We need this form completed for EVERY Pathfinder, staff, etc. AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, whether you are going or not!  

The registration cost of this Camporee is included in each Pathfinder's monthly dues, but if you sign up and then do not attend you will be charged the $60 non-refundable Conference fee plus $30 for food ($90 total).  We strongly encourage Pathfinders to attend the entire event, as making arrangements for drop-off after Thursday evening will be challenging. Once the event begins, it may be difficult to locate counselors and coordinate given communication challenges at Cohutta.
If you are a parent who wishes to attend and help, there will be a $90 fee.  You must have completed the Sterling Volunteer background check and let Miss Karen know. There will be no day passes.
For any of you who need to drive your own vehicle, once it is unloaded it MUST be parked outside the gates. No vehicles (except the one pulling the small trailer) will be allowed in the camping area.   

Excused Absence - We will send the list of Pathfinders to the SDA schools letting them know that your child will be attending the Camporee so that they will be excused from Friday's classes.
For those kids who attend public school there is a letter from the Conference Pathfinder director available requesting that the kids are excused. 

Class A Uniform - Just a reminder that you will need to bring your complete Class A uniform to wear on Sabbath morning for the Parade and church services.  
On Friday we will be wearing our orange club t-shirt. On Sabbath afternoon you can wear a different club t-shirt if you have one. If you need an orange club shirt, please check with Ms. Karen to see if there is one available for purchase in your size. (Some older club shirts may also be available to purchase as well if desired.)
A counselor/staff will be checking each Pathfinder’s luggage for a complete class A uniform and orange club shirt, so pack them at the top of their duffle bag.
If you need to do anything other than leave and return at the same times as the club, please put that information in the comments of the Response Form
      Leave: Thursday, April 24   Meet at 3:30PM.  Leave promptly at 4:00PM
      Return:  Sunday, April 27 1:00PM (this is tentative)
No pets of any kind are allowed to be brought onto the Cohutta Springs property/campground.
