Activity Information and Response forms
There will be an online response form that each Pathfinder, staff, parent and staff child can fill out letting us know whether or not they will be attending every club activity.
For those families with more than one person, the form will need to be filled out for each one. This includes the Pathfinders, staff, parents, staff children, and any siblings. Please do not bring anyone to club activities without making sure that they have been signed up!
Once you fill out the Response Form and you click the submit button you will see a message that says "Thank you. Your information has been submitted." If there is a * then the field is required, and it won't submit without it being filled in.

Hiwassee Float Activity - July 29, 2023
We plan to float down the Hiwassee in tubes Sabbath afternoon, July 29, on the middle river section from Reliance to the 411 Bridge. We will meet at the launch point at 2:00 p.m. to get tubes blown up and shuttle vehicles. The launch point is located at Hiwassee State Park-115 Ellis Creek Rd, Reliance, TN 37369.
Response Form
The plan is to be in the water floating at 3:00 p.m. Everyone will be responsible for their own float tube. Also, there must be a parent or guardian floating with their children.
The INTEX River Run Tube is a common tube you see on the river…for those that aren’t sure what you should be looking for. Make sure to put it all together before coming to save time and have a way to blow it up. (Also, if your tube has a short rope with a connecting link to connect to other tubes, it’s wise to hot glue the knots in the rope so they don’t come untied. Many knots have slipped loose and the plastic connectors are lost.) Write your name on your tube.
These are available from: Academy Sports, Dick's Sporting and Walmart.
We will shuttle cars to the Hwy 411 boat launch, this is where we will get out. Pray for no rain! All Pathfinders, staff and families are invited to join us.
This part of the river requires that life vests be worn by everyone. The club has a few life jackets if a Pathfinder needs one. (Sign up for a life jacket at the link below.) Parents and siblings will need to provide their own life jackets.
Float items to bring:
We will plan to meet somewhere after the tubing to eat a picnic supper, potluck style. (Bring food to share with others.) Make sure to bring your own plates, cups, utensils for your family. The club will provide lemonade and water. Also, you may wish to bring chairs. Suggested potluck items:

Pathfinder Greeters - Service to Our Church
We have two upcoming opportunities to provide a service to our church (an Investiture Achievement requirement for most units) as well as to help make Pathfinders more visible (in class A uniform) to our church members. Please fill out this Response Form if you are able to help (choose either date but not both!), we have a limited number of Pathfinders and staff needed for each service. Because the PBE members will not be able to help with the Greeting on Feb. 18th, we hope they will quickly sign up for the April 1st date if they wish to participate.
Pathfinders will be opening doors for people entering the church building, greeting with a big welcoming smile and a Happy Sabbath/Welcome to Church, and helping to hand out bulletins alongside regular Greeters. Pathfinder staff will be needed to help distribute our Pathfinders to the various doors and to supervise them.
Thank you for helping!
