McNabb Creek


Take 11-64 towards Cleveland
then 40 towards Ocoee
then take 411 towards Etowah.
Take a right on Mecca Pike to Tellico Plains (through the town)
Take the 1st fork to right (Tellico River Road) till it forks again, take the right fork (it will parallel to the river.) Note: go past Bald River Falls
Take the 1st gravel road on the left (this will be past the gated camping area)
McNabb Creek Parking Area  (N35 19.620   W084 07.717)


Take the trail at the end of parking lot. There are at least six river crossings before the camping area. Usually it's best to either take your boots off and wade through the creek barefooted or to have an extra pair of boots.

Hiking trail 92 or 56 just past N. River campsite #2

Also it's a good idea to check on when hunting season is and make sure to schedule at another time, as this area is widely used by hunters.
