On Thursday we will start loading the trailers in the church parking lot on at 10:30 AM and leave as close to 11 AM as possible on Thursday, October 20. Please bring a lunch with you since we won’t be stopping to eat on the way. It's about a five hour drive to get there. This campout will be over fall break.
Most of you have bicycles that you have or can borrow. Please check to make sure that your Pathfinder's bicycle is in good working order (no flat tires, brakes work, etc.). This is not a trip for someone one who doesn't know how to ride a bike. Please do not send your child with a bike that he/she has not ridden before. (And yes, it has happened before...). Everyone must wear a helmet while riding their bikes. You will also need to have a way to carry a lunch on water while on the trail both days. Also make sure to bring some type of rain gear that you can ride in (not an umbrella).
